Sulu Intruders think they are so great by invading Sabah

Terrorist In Sabah Akin To Pirates Say Felda Sahabat Residents
From Mohd Razman Abdullah

LAHAD DATU, March 13 (Bernama) - The Felda Sahabat community here labelled the intrusion of Sulu terrorists from southern Philippines into Lahad Datu, Sabah since Feb 12, as an act of 'pirates' and 'animals'.

The terrorist dastardly act which included attacking village residents and beating up children has fueled anger and hatred among the Felda Sahabat community and they are willing to risk their lives to fight the intruders in defending national sovereignty.

Lutong Atok, 67, a resident in Felda Sahabat said such brutal act of attacking village residents around Tanjung Batu and Kampung Tanduo two weeks ago proved they don't have any respect towards Sulu descendants in Sabah.

"They acted like pirates, intruded villages and started hitting people, shooting randomly, in fact, I personally watched the intruders hit a group of children as they were blocking their passage.

"Just because they are holding a M16 rifle, they think they can act freely towards us, if the government gave me a rifle, I would not hesitate to fight them," he told Bernama when met at a food stall in Felda Sahabat 16, near here, Wednesday. Speaking with enthusiasm, Lutong, father of eight children, said his family lived and became Felda settlers for over 30 years and his son-in-law and grandchildren are Suluk descendants.

"The Suluk community, which I know, does not behave in this manner, they show respect and courtesy to Felda settlers in Felda Sahabat. The intruders acted like animals, taking advantage and oppressed the people by forcing all the village residents to accept the Sulu Sultanate as their leader," he said.

Another resident, Saimah Mohd Jin, 61, said terrorists who were shot dead by Malaysian security forces during Ops Daulat served as a lesson for their act of atrocity towards the Malaysia security forces and the local community.

"Ops Daulat" is an operation conducted by the Malaysia security forces to flush out the remaining armed terrorists from the southern Philippines.

"This intruders have challenged Malaysia's sovereignty. They think they are so great by intruding Sabah, which is one of the 13 member states of Malaysia," she said with an angry tone and hoped the Malaysian security forces will quickly flush them out of Sabah.

Even though, she is not brave enough to go back to her village, she and her family feel safe and secured with the omnipresence of the Malaysia security forces in Sabah.

Perasaan benci pengganas berkobar di sanubari masyarakat Felda Sahabat
13 Mac 2013

"Mereka bersikap macam lanun. Pukul orang, tembak rumah orang.
